Md. Liton Ali is currently working as an assistant cataloguer in the Library and Documentation Office, Islamic University of Technology, Gazipur, Bangladesh. He completed his Bachelor and Postgraduate degrees in Information Science and Library Management from the University of Dhaka. He received several awards and scholarships for his academic achievements, including the Provost Award, Deans Award, Gold Medal, Government Scholarship, UGC Scholarship, Mitsubishi UFJ Foundation Scholarship, Private Bank Scholarship and so on. During his university life, Mr. Ali worked as a Teaching Assistant (Class Representative) for more than five (05) years and was active in different cultural and co-curricular activities. Alongside his studies, he gained firsthand experience and expertise in organizational automation and digitization. He has a demonstrated history of working on more than twelve (12) different library and information institutions’ automation and digitization projects, as well as two (02) internship programs. In addition, he has participated and volunteered in numerous national and international webinars, seminars, conferences, and symposiums. He is also skilled in nonprofit organizations, negotiation, Microsoft office applications, coaching, mentorship, team leading, event management, and so on.
