Bio

Dr. Yuhua Wang is a Lecturer in Business Information Systems in the Business School at Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU). She holds a PhD in Information Studies from the University of Sheffield and completed postdoctoral research projects on ICT4D and inclusive design of technologies and services. Her research studies the application and adoption of emerging technologies and digital inclusion, with a particular interest in health, ageing and education. She has presented and published her work in top venues for information behaviour research and ageing-related studies. Yuhua served as Head of Health Informatics Research Group in the Information School at Sheffield and successfully built an international knowledge exchange network, before she joins MMU. She first joined ASIS&T in 2016, after winning the ASIS&T Annual Lecture bursary award. More recently, findings from one of her postdoctoral projects were presented at the Information Science Trends 2022 conference, organised by ASIS&T European Chapter.
