Greetings, My name is Donte' Perry. I graduated from the NC Central University School of Library and Information Science with a degree in Information Science, focusing on Health Informatics and Strategic Information Management. I have over five years of experience working in the information services field. Previously, I worked as a Library Specialist with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), processed incoming requests from EPA patrons and other libraries by receiving, responding to, and filling those requests through the ILLiad and OCLC Worldshare programs. While also researching various sources to determine online accessibility while verifying and correcting lacking citations and bibliographic information that assists in requesting items from external libraries.
I was also an AUX Graduate Assistant with the Assessment & User Experience Department at Duke University Libraries. I conducted one usability test using quantitative and qualitative data analysis on data gathered from focus groups that featured one-on-one interviews and surveys done via remote user testing. In addition, I wrote two usability reports which contained data collected from research from similar universities and libraries.
I have a good command of the content management system software, including Drupal, MS SharePoint, WordPress, Wix, and GrowthZone. Also, I have a good grasp of data analysis tools, including SQL and Excel, with a general understanding of Python, SAS, Tableau Public, and R Programming.
