Dear colleagues,
You are warmly invited to submit your work for presentation at the LIDA (Libraries & Information Institutions in the Digital Age) biennial international conference to be held in Osijek (Croatia), May 24-26, 2023. The theme of the conference is Information Everywhere (http://lida.ffos.hr/).
We welcome submission of papers, panels, workshops and posters that address critical and theoretical examinations of the theme; report current research and evidence-based approaches as well as present innovative approaches from the field, and practitioner applications and perspectives. We also welcome students' proposals in two special tracks: Student showcase and PhD forum (https://lida.ffos.hr/contribution/).
Due to technical difficulties with the submission system, the deadline for proposals (extended abstracts) has been extended to October 31, 2022.
It is our pleasure to inform you that full papers (following the double blind review process) will be published in the scholarly journal Education for Information which is in Q1 and ranked 29 out of 249 journals in the Library and Information Science category (https://www.scimagojr.com/journalrank.php?category=3309)
The conference website has been updated with information regarding registration fees (for regular, local and non-salaried participants) and keynote speakers.
The LIDA conference is being planned to be fully in-person. If circumstances do not allow an on-ground conference to take place safely, LIDA will move to a virtual conference platform.
We would also like to inform you that earlier that week (May 22-23, 2023) an international conference Digital Transformation and Inclusiveness of the Higher Education Institutions in the Time of Crisis Situations, organized by Erasmus+ project DECriS (https://decris.ffos.hr/), will take place in Osijek. We invite you to consider prolonging your stay in Osijek and take part in both events (at discounted registration rate).

Submission of full-text manuscripts for review and inclusion in the scholarly journal Education for Information: January 31, 2023 (optional).
