Chapter: Europe

Hi all,

We are currently seeking nominees for the following positions to form new committees for the 2023-2024 year. 

The European Chapter is seeking self-nominations for the positions of Chair-elect and Treasurer, and the European Student Chapter is seeking self-nominations for the positions of Chair-elect, Secretary/Archivist, Treasurer, and Webmaster.

He completed his undergraduate education at Ankara University Faculty of Language, History and Geography Department of Information and Document Management in 2010. He completed his master's degree at the Information and Document Management Department of the Institute of Social Sciences of the same university with the title "Ticket ephemeras as special archive type in Turkey". He completed his doctoral studies at the Information and Document Management Department of the Institute of Social Sciences of the same university with the title "Regulation of private archives in the public interest: A strategic model proposal ".

He started his professional life in 2006 as a part-time librarian at the Library of the Faculty of Political Sciences of Ankara University. 2010, he was appointed library supervisor at Ankara University Faculty of Law Library and worked as a Librarian until 2020. He has been working as a Dr. Lecturer (Rectorate) at Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University since 2020. Since 2020, he has been working in administrative positions at Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University. In addition to his main duties he also takes an active role in many administrative positions, such as a Member of the Quality Board of the university where he works and a Commissioner of the Open Access Institutional Archive. He actively supported the ISO 9001:2000 Total Quality Management System studies at Ankara University and Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University. He has many academic publications, articles, books, book editorships and completed projects. He is working as a field editor at the Library Archive and Museum Research Journal a peer-reviewed journal that is scanned in international field directories. His research interests are medical librarianship, management of printed and electronic information resources, academic performance management, university rankings, data analysis and management, open science and open access, medical documentation, data mining, scientometrics, private archives, total quality management, sustainability.
