If you are an ASIS&T European Chapter member and would like to join a friendly, active team, to help us communicate better with members of the ASIS&T European Chapter -  please read on!

The ASIS&T European Chapter (EC) seeks two people to join their Executive Committee:
    - Social Media officer. You will post information about ASIS&T EC activities to the Chapter's Twitter and Facebook pages (and any other social media you engage with)  and regularly monitor its Twitter and Facebook feeds. We will also invite you to the ASIS&T EC Executive Committee meetings (about once a month). You should be comfortable with posting on social media, but you don't have to be a social media expert!
    - Newsletter Officer. You will be in charge of soliciting and compiling material for the Chapter's newsletter, and preparing it for final publication. You will take over with the issue to be issued in May/June - there are 2-4 issues per year. We will also invite you to the ASIS&T EC Executive Committee meetings (about once a month). Experience of producing a newsletter would be useful, but is not essential - I am editing the current issue, having previous experience of newsletter editing, and am willing to mentor anyone who has less experience.

These are valuable opportunities for networking and skill development, with an award-winning Chapter!
We welcome applications from members or student members.

Please contact me if you want to discuss either of these opportunities further
